| Pick up GR 652 at D931 south
of Agen. Walk in the direction of La Romieu to Condom. |
Suggested starting point is in Barcelonne du Gers where GR 65 will take you around Nogaro (a famous car/motorcycle racing track) to Eauze. | GR 653 will take you through Marciac (Jazz capital of France), Montesquiou (pretty, old fortification) to Auch. | Walking GR 653 can be started
in Isle Jourdain some 35 km from Toulouse. You will walk by the pretty town of Gimont
before you reach Auch. Another approach is to walk GR 65 from St. Antoine to Lectoure and then south to Auch. You can pick up GR 65 just below the Valence - d'Agen exit on Autoroute 62. |
